Uniform Notes

  • Reflective strips: parents who wish to have a reflective strip applied across the back and along the front pockets of their child’s/children’s existing school coats can now have this individually stitched on via School Zone. Please take washed jackets into School Zone and for a charge of £12 they will be able to arrange this for you. Parents are also free to use their own reflective armbands freely available from various retail outlets if they prefer.
  • Prep: Blazers should be worn to and from school every day (under a school coat if cold) and will be required for assemblies, school events and most day trips. They can be worn in lessons or alternatively should be kept on a child’s peg during the day but should be available to wear at all times.
  • Pre-Prep: Blazers are optional.
  • Long trousers can be worn from September in all year groups.
  • Jewellery: no jewellery to be worn including earrings. Watches may be worn but must be named.
  • Black NHS Fleece: this is part of the games uniform and should only be worn for games lessons or at breaktimes.

School Shoes

Children should wear formal, plain black school shoes. Velcro (especially for pre-prep), slip-on or lace-up are all acceptable.

Shoes must not be canvas, heeled or wedged, sandals, boots or branded trainers. Pupils should not wear shoes that have decorations or coloured or reflective strips or logos.
